1/8/26 Update from NYSDOT-

Crews are working diligently to progress the culvert replacement along Rt. 100 over the Muscoot Reservoir. The precast culvert boxes were installed on December 22nd. Backfilling to the top of the structure was achieved this week and crews are transitioning to the construction of the headwalls and removal of the excavation supports.

Though we remained hopeful, the recent snow and rains affected the project schedule, pushing the completion at this site and the road opening to February 6th.

12/11/25 Update from NYSDOT-

Due to unforeseen site conditions requiring extensive excavation, the road closure will be extended until the middle of January 2026. Crews are finishing the site preparation work and will soon move the new culvert into place.
