Dealing with high NYSEG electric bills? Community Solar offers a great solution—and there’s no installation of solar panels required! This free, no-obligation program lets you enroll in a solar project that applies savings directly to your bill. Plus, you can cancel anytime without any fees or penalties. The program offers up to 20% off your electric bill, but you must participate in one of the following public assistance programs: Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), Medicaid, Section 8, Energy Affordability Program (EAP) and Energy Assistance Programs (HEAP, or LIHEAP).
Enrolling is simple—just visit sustainablewestchester.org/solar and click "sign up." Be sure to choose the Half Moon project to get started.
