The Somers Lions Club, with the help of the Somers Highway Department, will again be organizing “Illuminate Somers,” the family friendly home light decorating competition. Houses are already lit up around town, but what is the best way to see them?
How about joining our “Parade of Lights” on Friday, December 18th, as we caravan around Somers touring the festive lights with your neighbors!! Starting from the SHS parking lot, you may arrive anytime between 6pm-7:30pm, with departure time based on the order you arrive. We expect the tour to take approximately 90 minutes.

No matter how you see the light around town, all residents are invited to either go online and vote for their favorites at http://illuminatesomers.com/page_votenow.php or vote by sending their top picks to contest@illuminatesomers.com. All votes go into the decision for top prizes, in addition to the coveted Community Choice Award.
