St. Luke’s Episcopal Church undertaking an exciting new project, the collection of medical supplies and T-shirts for the people of Kyiv, Ukraine. This is being done in conjunction with Irena Portenka, world renowned concert Pianist from Kyiv, Ukraine and the Brieant Youth Alliance (www.BrieantYouthalliance.org)
Medical supplies needed are large bandages to stop blood flow, elastic wraps, surgical tape, tourniquets, etc. for people wounded in the war.
The second request is 500 T-shirts in the following colors, Khaki, dark green, brown, sand in short and long sleeve in sizes X, XL and XXL..10,11,12 &13. Ms.
Irena Portenka will be at St. Luke’s on May 22nd and offer a prayer of thanksgiving during the 10am service.
Donations may be dropped off at St. Luke’s (www.slcsomers.org) from 1:00PM to 3:00PM on April 7th and every Thursday through May 19th. Deacon Norm Fulton will be there to answer any questions you may have.
